What am I supposed to do
With this vast nothingness
That presents itself in front of me?
I am exactly what I want to be
But so far from what I wish to be.
And to pass on to the next level,
I must let go of the one I am on.
Confusion frustrates the mind – pushing it
To do things it never would have otherwise;
Leaving the body to only self-despise
And push the confusion further.
This circle is never ending,
So why can’t my life be?
Circles allow repetition
Repetition allows correction
Correction allows self-satisfaction
And so the self-despising fades.
But fade it cannot – life is not a circle,
It is a slinky – The spiraling of
Mania and depression only to be furthered
By a child - who pushes it down a staircase.
